Kia ora, ko Deborah-Lee Sears ahau.
I have passion for caring for tamariki and providing them with many experiences that may assist them in their later life for learning, leisure and employment.
I believe that happiness is so important in life and that tamariki should have many experiences to assist them to find the things that make them happy.
Early childhood has become a necessity for many families and it is a great place for tamariki to experience the foundations of learning required in later life, especially opportunities for social experiences which may assist tamariki to develop relationships so that they may participate in learning for the present and for later life and have the confidence to work alongside others, develop relationships and have fun.

Hi, I’m Carrie. I have a husband and 2 young daughters.
Working at KKELC is like coming home for me as I worked at KKELC before my girls were born so being back is so nice.
I love natural environments and resources, using nature to inspire creativity and learning.
I also love taking our tamariki out on excursions, it’s amazing being able to take our children out in our local community and benefit from everything that Maungaturoto has to offer.

Kia ora,
My name is Kate. I grew up in Matakohe and after many years living away have recently returned to the area with my own whanau. After having my oldest daughter in 2020 I was inspired to return to study and in 2023 I completed my Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching. I am passionate about providing quality care and ensuring your tamariki are given opportunities to thrive. Outside of work I enjoy time with my whanau, photography and have a slight VW Kombi obsession.
