Our philosophy centres around three main principles - Manaakitanga - Respect, Aroha - Love, and Parekareka - Fun.

We believe that we provide a place of respect and trust which is shown through our open door policy and the relationships that are at the heart of our service.

We believe that building trustful relationships allows children and whanau to participate fully in our environment and that children learn best when they are respected, loved and heard.

Love shines through in everything we do, from our loving and respectful care of our youngest pepi, through to our valued school visits and engagement in learning with our oldest tamariki.

We provide a respectful and inclusive environment for all by allowing flexibility in every transition, and by planning for both individual and group learning experiences for all tamariki.

We promote respect for everything in our environment by choosing beautiful and quality resources, and encouraging care and respect for them. We nurture uniqueness and diversity and respect the holistic way that children learn in the early years. A place full of fun, awe, wonder, love, respect and whanaungatanga - a place where everyone is welcome.
